Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Intermediaries for Scale Initiative

Complete College America has been selected by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to participate in the Intermediaries for Scale (IfS) Project which focuses on collaborating with institutional teams to create the required conditions to initiate and sustain transformational work to improve college completion outcomes for low-income students and students of color. The competitive selection process yielded a community of scholars and practitioners representing 13 organizations who are partnering to develop a comprehensive network to provide support to their cohort institutions.

Participation in this project will facilitate further expansion of CCA’s Theory of Change to work with institutional leadership to identify structural barriers contributing to institutional gaps perpetuating inequity in student outcomes. As a national advocacy organization committed to scaling for change, the IfS Project provides an opportunity to expand CCA’s influence in game changing enablers for improved equitable student outcomes across 2-year and 4-year institutions serving a variety institution types.
