Dr. Shanna Autry serves as the Director of Student Affairs for The Florida Department of Education, Division of Florida Colleges. In this role, she provides leadership over equity, disability student services, admissions and enrollment, advising, dual enrollment, testing, athletics, financial aid and tuition waivers, residency, student activities, Guided Pathways implementation, and veterans’ affairs. Before becoming Director of Student Affairs, Shanna served as Dean of Advising and Retention at Tallahassee Community College. She has over 20 years of higher education experience with the Division of Florida Colleges, the State University System – Board of Governors, Florida State University, and the University of Georgia.

Shanna holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration and a graduate certificate in Institutional Research from Florida State University, an Inclusive and Ethical Leadership and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificates from the University of South Florida, a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Georgia.
