Monica White, M.A.
Project Manager for Institutional Transformation
Complete College America
Monica finds immense joy in guiding high school and college students through the often-daunting college admissions process. She believes in empowering students with knowledge and confidence, helping them understand their unique paths and fostering a positive self-image. “It means the world to me when a prospective student calls and says, ‘Ms. Monica, thank you for helping me get through this process,'” she shares.
Monica dreams of establishing a non-profit organization to support at-risk youth, focusing on education, cultural awareness, and life skills. As a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, giving back is deeply ingrained in her values. Growing up in a single-parent, low-income household, she understands the challenges faced by those in need.
Monica has spearheaded numerous fundraising and community service initiatives for her students, instilling in them the importance of contributing to their communities. Her passion extends beyond human support, as she actively volunteers at the Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) shelter.
Monica believes in the power of making a positive impact. She also dedicates time to the Second Harvest Food Bank – Feeding South Louisiana, further demonstrating her commitment to serving others. This commitment to service has been a constant driving force throughout her personal and professional life.
