Dr. Michelle Horton has 12 years experience working with adults returning to college. She currently directs Complete Florida, a statewide initiative to help adult learners finish their degree. Dr. Horton has a doctorate in higher education leadership and a master’s in administration with a specialty in human performance technology. She conducted research in online education associated with developing effective pedagogical skills among faculty. Dr. Horton was the administrator of a satellite location of a Florida state college and served as an advisor and a recruiter. She collaborates with organizations like Complete College America and the Florida College Access Network and serves on the statewide articulation committee for Early Childhood Education to share completion strategies for adults returning to college.
