I am the coordinator for Jefferson’s First-Year Experience course. I coordinate our course for over 2000 students each year. We run approximately 150 sections each year. I spend a great deal of time hiring, training and mentoring faculty in addition to teaching. I have chaired the FYE curriculum committee for our state-wide system (Kentucky Community and Technical College) for the past 5 years and recently chaired a work group that led to a college success graduation requirement for all AA and AS degrees within KCTCS.
