Lynnette Gulley is responsible most recently for connecting collaboratively with the University of Houston Downtown and various Lone Star College campuses for facilitating students’ seamless and successful transition from their LSC A.A. degrees to UHD’s Marilyn Davies College of Business for their B.B.A. degrees. The results of team efforts led to an increase of 15% in new transfer students to the college in the 2018 to 2019 year.

Gulley possesses over 20 years of leadership experience in higher education at community colleges and universities, including University of Houston, Lone Star College and Texas A&M University. Her emphasis focuses primarily in academic services, with specializations for new and transfer students in academic advising, recruitment, retention, student success and off-campus initiatives. She earned two bachelor’s degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, master’s from University of Houston and completed all doctoral coursework toward a Ph.D. at Texas A&M University.
