Liz Walker serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Convenings for the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. In her role she leads the development and implementation of various projects, programs and initiatives that advance the priorities established by the Commission’s strategic plan and the legislature. Since joining the Commission in 2013, she has managed the statewide implementation of the Commission’s adult engagement campaigns, 15 to Finish, proactive advising practices, academic degree maps and math pathways. She serves as a member of the ACT Indiana State Council and ICESA (Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault). Prior to joining the Commission, Liz served as a program coordinator for the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Center for Service and Learning, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications.
