Latrisha Jemison is currently Senior Vice President/Regional Community Development Manager for Regions Bank and oversees Arkansas, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. In this role, she oversees the Community Reinvestment Act and Community Development outreach. She also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Regions Foundation of Tennessee. She joined Regions in 2000 and has been in banking more than thirty years.
Latrisha is active in many community initiatives including, The Housing Fund Board, President of The Ivy Center Foundation of Nashville, Rocketown Board Chair, YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee Board and The Women’s Center at Tennessee State University Advisory Board. She has also served on the boards of American Baptist College, Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, Leadership Nashville Alumni Board, Metropolitan Nashville Barnes Housing Trust Fund Commission Chair, National Urban League Board of Trustees, New Level CDC Chair, Nashville Ballet, Bethlehem Centers of Nashville, Grace M. Eaton Childcare Center, Room in the Inn Women’s Advisory Council, Urban League of Middle Tennessee Chair and Woodbine Community Organization. Additionally, she has served as 2021 Honorary Chair of PENCIL Foundation’s Little Night of Music, Chair of the 2019 Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Leadership Seminar, YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee’s Wine, Women & Shoes Co-Chair, Nashville’s MEDWeek (Minority Enterprise Development Week) Chair and the Urban League of Middle Tennessee’s Equal Opportunity Day Chair.
Jemison has been recognized by several organizations for her community service including: YWCA of Middle Tennessee’s Academy for Women of Achievement, Phi Beta Sigma-Williamson County Chapter Business Woman of the Year For-Profit, Women of Power by the National Urban League, Tennessee State University Women’s Center Women of Legend and Merit for Community Service, Pioneer Award by the Educational Equal Opportunity Group, Woman of the Year by the Council on Workforce Innovation, JUMP (Jefferson Street United Merchants Partnership) Candlelight Award, Tennessee Housing Development Agency Homebuyer Education Initiative Founders Award, and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drum Major Award in Nashville.
She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated-Alpha Delta Omega Chapter, Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society, Leadership Nashville Alumni Association, NAACP, National Black MBA Association, The Links, Incorporated-Music City (TN) Chapter, Tennessee Affordable Housing Coalition, and the Urban League of Middle Tennessee. She is also a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville.
In July 2015 Jemison received The Better Life Award from Regions Bank. The Better Life Award is the top honor given to a Regions associate for outstanding dedication and job performance, as well as exemplary involvement and commitment to the community.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Jemison received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University and the Executive MBA from Tennessee State University.
