Kayla is a native Nevadan who grew up in Elko before attending the University of Nevada, Reno. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2014. Kayla has worked for Great Basin College since 2015, and currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications. She was previously a marketing specialist for GBC and intern for NV Energy and the the Bureau of Land Management. Kayla’s communications background has lended her extensive experience in community relations and government affairs.
