Jamie serves as Associate Vice Chancellor for Policy Implementation.  Previously she served as the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Policy for SUNY.  Before coming to SUNY, Jamie served as the Associate Commissioner for Child Care Policy for the Office of Children and Family Services and served as the Assistant Secretary for Education in the New York State Office of the Governor. In these roles, Jamie was proud to provide policy advice and implementation on initiatives such as the SUNY transformation plan, college application fee waivers for high poverty schools, the prohibition on transcript withholding, advanced course access, and child care scholarships for essential workers.  Jamie began her career in state service as a budget examiner for the New York State Division of Budget and previously served as a public-school teacher. Jamie graduated with a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Rochester and holds a M.P.A. with a concentration in Social Policy from Cornell University.
