Greg Cook is the Vice Provost and Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. UW-Whitewater offers 50 undergraduate degree areas, 13 masters programs, and one professional doctorate in business administration. Cook previously served UW-Whitewater as the Director of Academic Assessment, intern in the College of Letters & Sciences Dean’s Office, and as Department Chair and Professor in Psychology. He held prior teaching positions at Vanderbilt University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Wisconsin-Richland.
Cook is Whitewater’s lead representative in the Association of American Colleges & Universities, and he is most proud of his efforts to lead the UW-Whitewater initiative on Liberal Education & America’s Promise (LEAP), a national initiative to improve teaching, learning, student success, and inclusive excellence.
Dr. Cook holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Dayton and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Vanderbilt University. He spent more than two decades teaching a variety of courses in psychology and publishing scholarly articles in his discipline. He also co- authored two textbooks: “Child Development: Principles & Perspectives” and the “World of Children”.
