Dillon McNamara is a policy analyst in the New Jersey Office of the Governor, where he helps to advance the Governor’s education, workforce, and housing policy agenda. He also liaises with the state agencies that oversee K-12 and postsecondary education, economic development, labor, housing, and community affairs. Previously, Dillon worked at the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education, where he helped to expand college access and affordability in the state, including new programs to reduce the cost of college and address material hardships for students. While in this role, Dillon also helped implement the state’s new outcomes-based funding system for four-year public institutions. His prior work has also included time at the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association and interning in the New Jersey State Legislature and on campaigns. Dillon is a recent Master of Public Affairs graduate from the Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs, and he earned his B.A. in Political Science from The College of New Jersey.
