I have worked in higher education administration and student personnel services at both public and private institutions. My experience includes serving as the Assistant Dean of Students at Bellarmine University, First-Year Experience Coordinator and Orientation Supervisor at Florida State University. Within these positions, as well as in my graduate studies, I have worked in the areas of student and parent orientation, first year experience, career services, minority and international services, disability services, volunteerism, leadership development, student activities and judicial affairs.

I began working for Metropolitan College in November 2001. As the Director of Workforce Development I serve as a member of the management team and participate in the shared management of the overall program as well as coordinate all career services activities. I was instrumental in the creation and implementation of CREW (connecting resources education and workforce), a creative partnership among Metropolitan College and Jefferson Community and Technical College, which serves to provide a seamless transition from educational attainment to career placement by fostering academic achievement and successful career planning.
