Cory has ten years of experience in the higher education sector having served as the Chief Financial Officer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and the Associate Director for Financial Reporting for the Indiana University School of Medicine. In these various professional roles, he has relied heavily upon Management Information Systems in order to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of both financial and non-financial data.

Cory is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Indiana State University. He earned his Ph.D. from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He is a licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Cory’s research focuses on accounting and strategic decision-making in higher education. He is currently researching the ROI on CCA strategies.
