Celia Lloyd is a higher education strategist and change leader at the City College of New York (CCNY)/CUNY. She joined City College in 1998. Celia has held several leadership positions, including oversight of recruitment and enrollment services, and has played significant roles on the College’s Strategic Planning and Accreditation Committees. As a key leader on the Executive Team at CCNY, she participated in CUNY’s Executive Leadership Program and the Harvard University Management Development Program.

Prior to joining CCNY, Celia led student enrollment activities as Academic Services Manager at the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI). She also became involved in other aspects of life on the island, serving as an Emergency Services Coordinator for the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (V.I.T.E.M.A.).

Ms. Lloyd is passionate about mentoring and empowering others, and is committed to helping individuals achieve their highest potential. She developed a Leadership Development Program at City College, for staff members. More recently, she has expanded her mentorship to student entrepreneurs at the Zahn Innovation Center at City College, running workshops and providing guidance in relevant subject areas. She is also an active mentor for the Women of Gratitude, Resilience, Integrity and Talent (GRIT) Leadership and Mentorship Program at Stella and Charles Guttman Community College/CUNY.

In addition to these roles across the University, Celia has served as a Member of the Church Council (Board of Deacons and Trustees) of the Riverside Church, in New York.
