Dr. Cathy Buyarski serves as the Executive Associate Dean of University College at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis overseeing programs and services that promote student success by helping students develop meaningful pathways to graduation. Cathy’s approach to student success includes support for both individual students as well as advocating for institutional change to build systems and structures that support degree completion. She has a deep commitment to educational equity and providing college access and support for students from underserved, under-resourced, and underrepresented backgrounds. She earned a PhD in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
