Blake Johnson serves as president and CEO of IndyHub in Indianapolis.

Previously, Blake managed Complete College America’s media and communications strategy, including the development and implementation of all external communications such as publications, digital and social media, and stakeholder outreach.

Prior to joining Complete College America, Blake served as communications director and senior advisor for a member of the United States Congress and worked actively on a number of political campaigns. He has served as a speechwriter, on-the-record spokesman, and policy advisor to candidates and elected officials at the local, state and federal levels of government. Blake is an alumnus of Teach for America, where he taught middle school English Language Arts and leadership development in the Indianapolis Public Schools alternative education division.

In addition to his work at IndyHub, Blake is an elected member of the Indianapolis City Council.
