Since its inception, Complete College America and its alliance members have been known to push past barriers. We understand the full potential – and present limitations – of our current higher education and workforce systems. We are focused on scaling strategies that have been proven to work and propelling action that builds systems capable of helping students earn credentials and connect to careers.

As CCA celebrates its 15th anniversary, we returned to where the movement began: Indianapolis, IN. We hosted the Annual Convening in a city that has become a springboard for higher education policy and a gathering place for thought leaders and funders committed to postsecondary student success.

Complete College America’s Stan Jones Legacy Award is given to those who have consistently embodied the vision of CCA and its founder. Stan Jones founded Complete College America in 2009 and was president for eight years, growing the organization and the CCA Alliance to become a leading voice in college attainment and completion, before his passing in 2017. The recipients of the Stan Jones Legacy Award have worked toward achieving the goals of increasing the number of students who earn credentials of value and have become a model for other institutions, individuals, and/or states to follow in their college attainment work.
