Joshua Powers is Associate Vice President for Student Success and Professor of Higher Education Leadership at Indiana State University. Dr. Powers is the senior strategy officer for ISU’s retention and completion related activities. He is also a principal investigator on a $1.63 million U.S. Department of Education First-in-the-World grant exploring social-psychological interventions for stimulating growth mindset in students in difficult courses such as math. He is also a collaborator with the College Transition Collaborative at Stanford University.
