Carrie Carroll started her career in higher education at Augsburg College in 1997. She worked in admissions there for 13 years, leading the undergraduate and graduate, traditional and non-traditional student recruitment efforts. Carrie was the Dean of Students, Vice President of Enrollment and Chief Diversity Officer from 2011-2016 at Luther Seminary—the largest of the eight ELCA seminaries in the United States. She currently works as the Senior Partnership Manager at College Possible, a non-profit organization focused on getting low-income students to and through college. She is committed to building interculturally competent leaders and uses her certification of “qualified administrator” to offer the Intercultural Development Inventory to individuals and organizations. A relationship builder and a collaborative leader who loves to empower people and ideas, Carroll serves on the Hamline University Alumni Board and the White Bear Lake Area Education Foundation Board. She earned an MA degree in leadership from Augsburg University and a BA from Hamline University.
