Mililani grew up in Lisman, Alabama, and currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama. She is a Nursing student at Lawson State Community College and a Psychology Major at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With over a decade of experience in the financial and banking industry, she has transitioned her career path to focus on healthcare, aspiring to contribute to both physical and mental well-being.

Stewart is actively engaged in her community, working as an intern with the American Heart Association in Community Development, and she works as a certified K-12 teacher throughout various schools in Alabama. She recently served as a Student Advisory Council member with Complete College America HBCU Digital Learning Infrastructure. 
As an adult learner, Stewart aims to inspire others facing life challenges to pursue higher education, emphasizing that it is never too late to embark on a path of continuous learning and personal growth.
