Lucia Weathers is chief executive officer of Weathers Strategy Group (WSG), a full-service, mission-driven, strategic communications and consulting agency. Lucia has 20+ years of experience in corporate communications, crisis communications, public relations, and photography.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Lucia held corporate positions as a marketing communications professional with national organizations focused on philanthropy and federal policy, including Lumina Foundation, Strada Education Network, and Stand Together. She also has experience in state government from her work at the Hoosier Lottery, an Indiana State Agency. She started her corporate career at the American Legion Auxiliary National Headquarters, a national female veterans’ membership-based organization, headquartered in Indianapolis. Lucia learned and fell in love with corporate and media communications while interning at The American Legion National Headquarters, Riley Children’s Foundation- affiliated with Riley Hospital for Children, and WTHR-Channel 13 (the NBC-television affiliate) as a Butler University student.

She holds a bachelor’s degree (BA) in public and corporate communication, specializing in journalism and public relations from Butler University, and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Anderson University. Lucia is an advocate of lifelong learning and being a kind human.
