Anthony Parker-Gills is the Academic Coordinator of the McNair Scholars Program at Saint Louis University. He earned his Bachelors degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice and his Masters in Social Work. He has over five years of educational experience. His research interest includes evaluating the academic and social experiences of minoritized students at predominately white institutions, P-20 pipeline programs, advancing racial equity in higher education, student retention, experiences of first-generation college students, graduate education, TRIO programs and Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Anthony has presented his research and best practices initiatives at conferences across the country and he is currently finishing his PhD in Higher Education Administration at Saint Louis University. His ultimate goal is to become a college president because he believes it will give him the ability to make an impact in many students lives especially students of color.
