Full professor in Psychology Department, PhD in Ecological/ community Psychologist with cognate in Health promotion behaviors from Michigan State University, Postdoctoral training at the University of California-Davis on HIV/AIDS psychosocial research.  More than 10 years of community work on interventions related to HIV AIDS.  The most recent 15 years dedicated to the design, implementation and evaluation of innovative programs and institutional policies for students success in several administrative and representative positions; elected academic senator ( six times), Chancellor’s executive assistant for academic affairs, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Associate Dean of Student’s Affairs, Title V grant director.  Currently, Coordinator of Center for Student’s Center and success, RUMbo EX , Chair, Institutional Committee for Student’s Retention and Success and representative to University of Puerto Rico systemic committee and academic senator.
