Teresa Thompson-Pinckney serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Access & Student Success at Fayetteville State University. In this capacity, she leads the transformational team to facilitate coordination and collaboration among different university units to increase student success based on depth, spread, sustainability, and ownership. In addition, she manages a portfolio of access and student success initiatives to include federal TRIO programs and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Frontier Set. She designs, implements and secures funding to increase access to post-secondary education and equity in preparing, retaining, and graduating low-income/first-generation students. Dr. Thompson-Pinckney has secured federal, state and foundation grant awards in the amount of $25+ million on behalf of Fayetteville State University.
