My name is Melissa A. Milliken. I received a Doctorate of Education in Counselor Education and Supervision through Argosy University – Sarasota in January, 2016, Masters of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University – Chicago in January, 2011, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from Quincy University in May, 2005. In the counseling arena, I have worked in an emergency room setting and in substance abuse treatment. I have been in the field of teaching for many years (e.g. higher education, clinical psychoeducation, elementary education). Presently, since 2016 I have worked at Grand Canyon University as CORE online counseling faculty.
