Chris Rasmussen is currently Senior Director of Academic Pathways and Innovation at the Colorado Department of Higher Education. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver. Prior, he was a vice president for the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges, and for the Midwestern Higher Education Compact.

Rasmussen holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy in Higher Education from the University of Michigan. He also has a Master of Science from Minnesota State University at Mankato and a Bachelor of Arts from Gustavus Adolphus College.
