Brett has over 20 years’ experience in Career Services. Currently, he is the Director of the Career Center in the College of Business at UHD. Under his leadership, Brett has introduced a large career component to the BA 3300 Business Cornerstone course curriculum as well as introducing events such as the Business Internship Mixer, Business Career Fair, Gator Resume Dash, employer panels and site visits. For the previous 11 years, Brett was the Director of the Employer Services & Recruitment team for the Rockwell Career Center at the UH Bauer College of Business where he designed and launched many initiatives including their on-campus recruiting program that started in Spring 2010. He is a past member of the Advisory Board for the Walt Disney World College Program and served in that capacity for 5 years. He is also a Past-President of TxCEIA and served on many Board roles prior to that. He continues to serve as their webmaster. In 2011-2012, Brett was an Ambassador for the Greater Houston Partnership (GHP), where he achieved lifetime membership status. Prior to all of this, Brett also worked in the career centers at Texas A&M in College Station and FIU in Miami.
