Dr. Hailie Lane began her career in K–12 education, teaching English and preparing students for SATP and ACT success before transitioning into higher education in 2023. Because her doctoral research examined how student support services influence the persistence and completion of underrepresented and first-generation college students, Dr. Lane brings a deeply informed perspective to advancing equity, access, and retention in higher education.
Before joining CCA, she served as a Student Success Coach at Jackson State University, where she supported graduate student retention and engagement in the Department of Graduate Studies. Her work centered on designing programs that promoted academic achievement, professional development, and mental wellness for diverse student populations.
A first-generation traditional college graduate herself, Dr. Lane earned her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi. She is passionate about creating transformative educational experiences that help every student reach the finish line.
