Charlie Riccardelli is Communications Manager at Complete College America, bringing extensive experience in strategic communications, content development, multimedia storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration. Throughout Charlie’s career, a passion for writing has been paired with an ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling, and accessible content for a wide range of audiences.
Before joining Complete College America, Charlie served as a Communications Specialist at the Crime and Justice Institute. In that role, Charlie developed articles, interviews, social media content, project reports, work plans, and publicity materials in collaboration with teams across the organization. Charlie also led an initiative to integrate video storytelling more broadly into the organization’s communications, helping teams present their work through more engaging and dynamic formats.
Previously, Charlie worked as an Operations Communications Specialist for 7-Eleven Corporate, supporting thousands of stores across North America in a fast-paced, round-the-clock operating environment. The role required close coordination with operations, logistics, legal, marketing, and other departments to deliver timely and accurate communications. Charlie facilitated as many as 50 unique mass communications each day, managed content for the company’s franchisee app, and developed learning modules for employees and internal teams.
Charlie earned a Ph.D. in English with a focus on fiction writing from the University of North Texas in 2018. While completing the doctoral program, Charlie taught technical writing, composition, American and world literature, and creative writing. Charlie also served as an academic advisor, helping students navigate their academic requirements and make timely progress toward completing their degrees.
Drawing on experience in corporate communications, education, marketing, video production, publicity, and creative writing, Charlie brings a thoughtful and audience-centered approach to communicating ideas that inform, engage, and inspire action.
