Matt Presser, Ed.L.D.
Matt Presser’s research and practice focuses on how universities create the conditions to achieve equitable rates of student access and success. His higher education experience includes time spent directing a program serving DREAMers enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University, teaching at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, and tutoring in prisons in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He began his career as a public school teacher in New Haven, Connecticut, and served as a teaching ambassador to the U.S. Secretary of Education. In addition to his doctorate from Harvard Graduate School of Education, he holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in urban education studies from Yale University.
