Deborah Whistler is currently the Director of Design Thinking & Social Innovation and developing a Career Design Center at Spalding University. She received her BFA from Miami University in 1981 with a concentration in Graphic Design & a minor in Marketing and her MFA with a concentration in printmaking and drawing from the University of Cincinnati in 1996. She worked in Graphic Design and Marketing for ten years before she began teaching in higher education in 1996. She is interested in bridging the GAP between higher education and the workforce and teaching how to use creativity to solve challenges faced in our world today.
